BAMBU SHARK BAY TRIP 2010 In July a group of very lucky guests and half the bambu staff spent an amazing 17 days exploring the world heritage marine park of Shark Bay and Dirk Hartog Island on board the hostels boat MV Bambu Explorer. This area is a remote and stunning massive bay system that forms the western most point of Australia, and is near where the world famous Monkey Mia dolphins are to be found. We lived on-board and spent our time discovering amazing remote bays and inlets, fishing for huge game species of fish and sharks, diving with dolphins, whale watching, and lots of time relaxing, eating, sunbaking, and listening to great music! The Bambu boat will be heading up again in July next year, if that coincides with your visit you should talk to us about getting on-board for what will definitely be a highlight of your visit to Australia!
